Auxiliary Council Events:

Spring Party for the Lakeview Center - Each Spring the Auxiliary Council hosts a spring picnic for the kids from the Lakeview Center.  The party is filled with fun events including tug of war, Easter egg hunt, potato sack races and much more. Occasionally the Easter Bunny himself will make an appearance at this fun filled event.  The kids always seem to have such a great time at this annual event.

Angel Tree & Auction - Every October the Auxiliary Council hosts a fabulous auction full of items which are donated by HBA members and local businesses.  The proceeds from the auction are used to purchase Christmas gifts and to host a Christmas party for all of the children from the Lakeview Center.  Prior to and during the auction, the council members sell "Angels" for the Angel Tree.  Each "Angel" sold represents one child who is currently staying at the Lakeview Center.

Christmas Party for the Lakeview Center - Each December the Auxiliary Council hosts a Christmas Party for the children who are currently staying at the Lakeview Center.  The council members work very hard throughout the year to raise money to provide funds used for the Christmas Party and Christmas gifts.  The council sees to it that each child receives a gift from Santa Claus and that each child realizes how special they are how much people do care about them.

Dream Home Drafting Contest - Each year during the HBA's Parade of Homes, the Auxiliary Council gives local high school students the opportunity to participate in the Parade of Homes by designing manual and CAD house plans for judging by local builders and architects.  Cash awards are presented to the first, second and third place winners.
